About Jon

Originally from Northwest Iowa, Jon moved to Des Moines to earn an Associate’s Degree in Building Trades and Architectural Drafting from Des Moines Area Community College.

Jon has been working in the Des Moines area for more than 20 years as an experienced carpenter with building and remodeling experience. He has worked on everything from new builds to window installs and deck projects, all the way up to custom remolding on fine homes. He is currently a Project Manager for a local remodeling company in Des Moines. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, riding bikes, hunting and finding houses on his own to remodel.
